Ο ιερός ναός του Αγίου Ελευθερίου στον οικισμό Γεράνι Κυδωνίας κτίστηκε στα μέσα του 17ου αι. Αρχιτεκτονικά ανήκει στον τύπο της βασιλικής και ξεχωρίζει για το μεγαλοπρεπή καμπαναριό που δεσπόζει στην κεντρική είσοδό του. Στο εσωτερικό φέρει ένα πολύ αξιόλογο τέμπλο και πλούσιο φορητό διάκοσμο του 17ου και 18ου αι., με πιο σημαντική την εικόνα του Αγίου Χαραλάμπους που ιστορήθηκε το 1640. Δίπλα από το ναό βρίσκεται το νεκροταφείο του οικισμού.
